Just a little market research
So, if you guys were to ever buy crocheted things, would they be functional or just fun? Like, are you more likely to buy things if they have a purpose, rather than just cute?  And what sorta things would you want to buy in general? Obviously you don’t have to buy my things, I just want a clearer idea of where the market’s at.  Let me know?

I got some bamboo hooks.
I’m in love with them, and I doubt I’ll go back to metal. They’re just so much nicer to work with.

So sorry I haven't updated in so long.
Things have been crazy. I don’t know if any of you still even remember following me or have an interest any more, but I set up a shop here if you want to buy some of my stuff. I should be putting some more up soon. And I will be posting some of my recent projects soon hopefully, so don’t write me off just yet :)

So that last picture I posted is my latest creation. I kinda love her right now. I’m actually happy with how she turned out. And I think I might make her a set of jumpers, so she’s always looking awesome and feeling warm. I would post a pattern, but I actually used a pattern on this one, rather than just improvising and hoping it works. The pattern was in the little extra crochet book...

These are the days, it never rains but it pours
It’s been too long since I’ve updated this. Considering deleting it tbh as I never update it, and the patterns are rubbish. But yeah. I made this So here’s the pattern. This is just going by memory btw so if I get something wrong, tell me. The raincloud: Ch 23 Starting in 2nd chain from hook, sc in each chain (22 sts) Don’t turn. Sc 2 more in the end chain. Sc...

Wow, to be honest, I’d kinda forgotten about this. I’ve not even really been crocheting recently though. More just school. Homework. Sleep. Maybe I’ll update in the holidays, if I can get a break from revision lol.

Vampires Will Never Hurt You...
I finished the Queen Vampire, and if I do say so myself, I think she’s rather lovely. Quite cute really. Now I just have to make the skeleton bride and groom, and Jack’s ninja. All before Monday. Can I summon the energy?

Creepy Cute
So I finally invested in a real crochet book, rather than just mooching off of online patterns and improvising. It seems pretty good. Fairly simple. There isn’t really much difference between patterns, but they’re all very creepy and cute, so I guess it does what it says on the tin. I just need to sit down and make them now. I’m halfway through the Queen Vampire’s head....

Radio silence.
Apologies for the lack of updates. School has once again forced its way to the top of my priorities list. I only ever get to crochet in free periods and sometimes after school, if I don’t fall straight asleep =P I will hopefully be sharing some patterns soon though. (:

Free Flower pattern
I’m sure calling this a pattern breaks some kind of law. It’s so easy and quick. Make a load and give them to people, or stick them onto clothes, bags, school stuff, a wall, anything. They take about 5 minutes, and use tiny amounts of wool, so they’re great for those scraps hiding in a corner. Apologies for the awful photo. It was taken on my phone, on my “well...

Just made my sheep’s body. The most gorgeous wool ever. All soft and fluffy, and not even that hard to work with. Or maybe it’s just because it hides the mistakes well. Either way, I’m happy (:

Why so serious??
I had to go and forget to buy flesh coloured wool, didn’t I?? Not fair! =P But I finished the Joker. And actually, I’m quite proud of how he turned out. He’s adorable. But totally evil, of course… Now onto the others…

Why isn't there...?
Why is there no universal crochet language?? Like, half is in American and half is in [real] English. The stitches are the same but they all have different names. So what I’ve been doing as a double is actually a UK treble, and so on. This is why I got so confused when I started! Ah deary me… In brighter news, Hobbycraft run tomorrow (: Hoping to get a big hook to make my sheep,...

Pattern for Eddie- the lovable monster.
This is the first pattern I’ve written down- the rest I made were just improv -so tell me if there are any mistakes that need correcting, or parts that don’t work for you. You need: Crochet hook, wool/ yarn in the appropriate weight (any colour you like, or a combination if you want), stuffing/ a suitable filling, a needle with a big eye (to sew with wool), an ability to sc,...

New blog (:
So, I’ve decided to create a crochet only blog so you people don’t have to sort through all the non-crochet posts. I’ll be putting all my adventures into the world of the hook in here, as well as some patterns when I come up with them. (:
